RemWin is charged each week, the charge being direct to your mobile bill or reducing your pre-pay credit. The charge that is relevant to you is provided to you via SMS at least once per calendar month but is also available by contacting Remote Games Ltd. If you are a post-pay or contract mobile phone user you will be charged for your entry to your mobile telephone bill, otherwise if you are a pay-as-you-go customer your entry will reduce your credit by the equivalent value.

RemWin offers you the chance to win a prize for every week you play, a new prize is available every week. You can unsubscribe from RemWin at any point either by contacting Remote Games Ltd or by texting
STOP to 88311, from the handset being charged.
This will terminate the service on receipt and end your chance to win the prize-draw competition. Only active participants can be declared the winner of the prize-draw.

How it all works

This service is no longer available join, existing members can still participate. Each week you will receive one or more SMS that include instructions on how to participate in the competition for that week, follow those instructions. In brief, you will be asked to answer a question via SMS and if you answer that question correctly you are entered into that week’s prize draw to win the prize that is on offer. A prize-winner is selected at each week using random selection process incorporating a sophisticated computer algorithm with no human intervention. This algorithm is a program that independently pools all eligible participants and selects a mobile number. The chosen mobile number is declared the winner and contacted by our customer care team to arrange prize delivery. If as a prize-winner you have a choice of prizes or prize attributes (e.g., colour options) you will be asked to make these choices as part of the winner’s notification and fulfilments process. Each prize-draw week commences on Friday at exactly midnight (00:00:00) and ends the following Thursday at exactly (11:59:59). This period is the prize-draw period and will automatically reset each week after the draw is made.

Detailed terms of service:

  1. If you are 18 years of age or over and resident in the you are eligible to take participate in RemWin.
  2. Other than the age restriction in (a), you can participate in RemWin so long as you are not employed by Remote Games Ltd or related to any persons (not restricted to current members of staff) that has been involved in any other aspect of Remote Games Ltd.
  3. You will be charged a weekly cost, the cost that is specific to you is provided to you via SMS, and the payment is applied to your mobile phone, it will either appear as a charge on your mobile phone bill or reduce pay as you go credit. Your mobile phone operator is not affiliated to RemWin. For many reasons it is possible for charges to your mobile to occur after the end of a quiz period, for example owing to but not restricted to network and technical issues.
  4. In the event of that you wish to challenge any charges incurred on your mobile phone as part of this service, refunds are provided in exceptional circumstances and only at the discretion of Remote Games Ltd. Any claim will be subject to a full investigation including the analysis of your interaction with our services, the service pages you have visited, the information you were presented and the interactions you took to join a service, including but not restricted to the receiving and sending of SMS messages.
  5. You can unsubscribe from RemWin. at any point by either contacting Remote Games Ltd or by texting STOP to 8831. This will terminate the service on receipt and end your chance to win the Prize-draw competition. Only active participants can be declared the winner of the prize-draw.
  6. A Prize-draw will take place each week. Eligible participants will be derived from those who have both answered the relevant weekly question correctly and paid for the week’s entry. This group will be determined before 11:59pm on each Thursday of the prize-draw period. The prize-winner is selected at random using a sophisticated computer algorithm with no human intervention. If you’re a prize-winner you will either be telephoned by the Customer Care team or alerted by SMS (text message) to call in, if you win and we cannot contact you within 28 days of the competition closing, unfortunately you will forfeit your prize. Please make sure you answer our calls and/or emails to avoid this. We will always consider mitigating circumstances, but in the interests of fairness, we may pick another winner, or advertise your prize in a separate competition. If you fail to claim your prize because we cannot contact you in this period, no alternatives or compensation will be provided. Full contact details will be requested for prize delivery fulfilment and a brief informal statement requested on how it feels to be a winner.
  7. Remote Games Ltd will make best endeavours to maintain the consistent running of RemWin but reserves the right to end or amend any aspect of it at its sole discretion and without prior notice, except in instances where the cost of the service is amended. Changes to entry charges will not be made without your prior consent throughout the lifetime of the service. Remote Games Ltd reserves the right to withhold the delivery of prizes to facilitate its ordering and delivery schedule. If reasons so permit, prizes can be withheld indefinitely pending a full investigation into the legitimacy of the prize-winner and their entry/entries.
  8. Remote Games Ltd reserves the right to adjust the terms and conditions of RemWin from time to time.

Wapstar Terms & Conditions

  1. Wapstar is the brand name used by Remote Games Ltd for its entertainment portal(s) that include things such as Games and Videos. From time to time, and at the sole discretion of Remote Games Ltd, new content categories may be added to reflect trends in the marketplace.   2. Wapstar provides access to content on the Wapstar portal, specific details are clarified before purchase. You can continue to enjoy the Wapstar portal and its contents for the full duration of time that you remain a subscribed user. Terminating your service will revoke your right to access and use content provided by Wapstar.
  3. Remote Games Ltd purchases content for its consumers to enjoy as part of their active service, and in the future reserves the right to implement restrictions on the volume of content that can be downloaded by a single user in any given period.
  4. As a subscriber with access to the Wapstar portal, you acknowledge that you have no right to distribute the portal and/or its contents to other people who have not been granted specific access to it by Remote Games Ltd. You also agree that you cannot use any of the contents for commercial gain, including resale or hire.
  5. Any celebrity and sound-a-like content consumed on the Wapstar portal is unofficial unless stated otherwise and does not carry the approval or endorsement of the personality involved or any associated institution.
  6. Remote Games Ltd and its partners shall use its best endeavours to ensure its services are fault free, and that any service provided remains uninterrupted. However, should issues arise, Remote Games Ltd will take the necessary measures to rectify the situation as quickly as possible. At such times, you agree that Remote Games Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages or for interrupted communications, lost data, or any economic loss arising out of or in connection with the lack of access to the portal and its content.
  7. By entering Wapstar, subscribers agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  8. You can unsubscribe from Wapstar at any point ,
    by either contacting Remote Games Ltd or by texting
    STOP to 65065, from the handset being charged.
    This will terminate the service on receipt.
  9. Remote Games Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the Service at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control, provided that Remote Games Ltd will notify you of the amended Terms and Conditions and by continuing to use the service you agreed to be bound by such updated Terms and Conditions.
  10. The cost of this service is £4.50 per week and will be charged either to the mobile phone bill of the subscriber or as a reduction in the credit of the subscriber for pay as you go mobile phone contracts.
  11. In the event of that you wish to challenge any charges incurred on your mobile phone as part of this service, refunds are provided in exceptional circumstances and only at the discretion of Remote Games Ltd.
